Ballet gets dark
Natalie Portman stars in Black Swan the follow up to Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler and it's all about ballet. I do not know what to make of it from the trailer - flits between unnecessary glorification of ballerina stereotypes via famous actor, an All About Eve type-thing, and a Gremlins film. Hmm, curious.
Vincent Cassel is also in the film (as pervy artistic director - oh dance world stereotypes make me sad) and I like him (because Mesrine was just totally thrilling).
