Meat Toolbox

Have you ever looked at a worker and his toolbox thinking 'if I had a selection of tools and devices available to me like that, making choreography would be as easy as cooking from a cookbook!'?

I believe that it's difficult to improvise good food if you have little or no experience in... chemistry, and so cooking from a cookbook is easier. At least the cookbook knows what it's on about. Yet, I'm lazy enough to only improvise when I'm in the kitchen (maybe because buying the things you need for a recipe is such a hassle!) and it's such an exiting gamble every time I do it. Will I or will I not conjure up a most delicious mush?

So to avoid mushy choreography maybe a handy toolbox isn't such a bad idea. Unless mushy is what you're going for - of course.

Well well, dream no more because such a toolbox does actually exist. It's online and it's everybody's. The latter being the best part, as this means everybody can use it and add to it, creating an ever evolving box of choreographic tools for you - it's great for inspiration and you will not be subject to one choreographic doctrine but many!

Everybodys is a data base and a library, a toolbox and a game creator, a publication house, a score container, a site for distribution and for long term investigatory discussions. It is a platform for the development of tools and content, for research and performance, for exchange and desire.

Everybodys is a collective effort to develop the discourses that exist within the performing arts and to create a platform where this information can be accessed by a wider audience than the practitioners it involves.

Everybodys welcome.

This is where you'll find it.
