"50 days Costa Rica" - for 50 days 50 dancers from all over the world recently gathered in San Jose CR, to study with David Zambrano (The Guru of Contemporary Dance Technique Flying Low). Now "Passing on Passing Through" (a dance improvisation practice) is emerging from an addiction to these teachings of Zambrano.
"Passing on passing through" - dance improvisation practice is directed towards professional dancers. The content of the training is passing on the principles of David Zambrano's "Passing Through" yet adapted to our own artistic curiosities, vision of contemporary dance and embracing our professional experience. The practice focuses on opening up senses, strong physicality, guiding energy, imagination, invisible powers, ensemble work and challenges life experience to manifest in the body. Within this practice we offer an intense process that aims to lead you towards unknown places and to be challenged by the complex simplicity of the introduced elements.
You can join "Passing on Passing Through" in Amsterdam this April and May for Block 1 of the practice, which is led by dancers by Cristina Leitao, Malgorzata Haduch and Maaike v.d. Westeringh. For more info and prices check out blog.
