Go Gay for the Day
I love London in the summer [I never know if seasons should have capitals or not...] partly because of the great music festivals that don't involve trekking with a huge sweaty backpack, dangling sleeping bag and smuggling in bottles of alcohol wrapped up in t-shirts that could just get confiscated anyway but also because people get all happy in parks together. Despite old Boris getting rid of the wonderful Rise festival that went on in Finsbury Park - sabotage, I say - we still have the Lovebox Weekender in Victoria park this weekend, and this year they're putting on a pink Sunday!
This fab fest describes its Sunday as "a freewheeling, groundbreaking, no-holds-barred, non-stop polysexual party". Brap brap!, I say.
