It's The Women
London Dance International (an annual initiative presented by Chisenhale Dance Space, Greenwich Dance and Independent Dance) is celebrating (with lots of balloons it seems!) female dance artists Ruth Zaporah, Ivana Müller, Frauke Requardt, Wendy Houstoun and Fin Walker.
Ruth Zaporah (creator of Action Theater) and Ivana Müller (her work is pretty fresh, so I'm sure she is too) will each be leading an intensive weeklong workshop (Zaporah 21 June/Müller 19 July £150/125 Conc), while the UK based females will curate a short residency to nourish their personal artistic process.
And there's a talk exploring the movements between dance, theatre, performance 18 July at Siobhan Davies Studios (1pm-5.30pm £5).
