In case you missed this weekend's Tate Modern screenings of Charles Atlas' films (or obsessions - note the many and quite sensual close-ups of Clark and you'll know what I mean) with Michael Clark and fancy a taste, here are a few clips of some of the dances that feature in the iconic film Hail The New Puritan. Costumes by Leigh Bowery and music by The Fall.
- It's all perfectly peculiar.
Coming up soon: Tate Modern screenings of Vivienne Dick films 10 – 14 September 2010. Dick, who was a key figure of the radical music and film movement No Wave in the 1970s in New York City, collaborated with Nan Goldin and Lydia Lunch among many others. I really like this clip of a very restless and very young Lunch from Dick's 1978 film Guerillere Talks, showing Saturday 11 September.
