Sugar Daddy?
I was thinking about something I read photographer Gilles Larrain say in an interview with Ryan McGinley in Vice magazine: "When there is passion, when there is energy, when there is vision, and when there is luck, you achieve things."
When there is luck? Please. I think Larrain meant to say: When there is money, you achieve things. In 1972 Gilles Larrain was given $15,000 by a stranger. Yes, a stranger decided that he would like to support a young, up-and-coming photographer, which makes Larrain the luckiest bastard artist I've ever heard of... Thank God he has talent, or else I would be angry.
Fuck luck. I'ma gon' find meself a Sugar Daddy.
