ImPulsTanz (Vienna International Dance Festival) is still looking for performers to audition for the research project Choreographers’ Venture Too Shy To Stare with Davis Freeman, 26 July – 30 Aug. The audition is on the 18th of July, where the choreographer will choose 14 performers to participate in the creation of a new version of his one-to-one work from 2002 called Too Shy to Stare. The piece will be a two-hour performance, which will be performed for 10 people at a time at ImPulsTanz 2010, with 14 shows from 4 – 12 August.

Davis Freeman is an actor, dancer, director, and performance artist who has worked with Forced Entertainment (Bloody Mess, The World in Pictures), Meg Stuart (Highway 101, Alibi), Hans van den Broeck (They feed we eat eat eat) and Stephan Pucher (kirschgarten, Snapshots). He is also the co-founder of the company RANDOM SCREAM.
